    • Given that 2/3 of the adult population are overweight or obese, this issues impacts at least 2/3 of adult visits which equates to an enormous burden for clinical staff.

The adult weight management measure logic requiring that a weight management plan be established for the most recent BMI is impractical in clinical medicine and is not patient centric. If a patient comes in by way of example every week for a wound dressing change, the logic requires that their weight be addressed at every one of those visits.  Weight management is very important, but this logic results in an inappropriate frequency in many patients which is not to their benefit and results in clinical staff needing to ignore divert attention away from the myriad other clinical priorities.  The logic should be adjusted to a frequency of no more frequent than every 3 months.
