Issue with eCQM147v11 numerator logic: How should a user document a previous recipient of Influenza Vaccine now that the Previous Receipt of Influenza Vaccine (2.16.840.1.113883.3.526.3.1185) has been deleted from the numerator?

      ​Thank you for your question about the previous receipt of an influenza immunization for CMS147v11. Self-reported vaccinations are accepted for the measure if they are documented in a structured field in the EHR. There is a note in the guidance that indicates that patient self-report for procedures as well as immunizations should be recorded in 'Procedure, Performed' template or 'Immunization, Administered' template in QRDA-1. Equivalent services can be mapped to the measure's value set. If mapping is done, you should maintain documentation in case of a CMS audit.

      How should a user document a previous recipient of Influenza Vaccine now that the Previous Receipt of Influenza Vaccine (2.16.840.1.113883.3.526.3.1185) has been deleted from the numerator?

      In both the Description and Numerator statements we see “OR who reported previous receipt of an influenza immunization” but we don’t see any way to capture that information when looking at the Population Criteria > Numerator logic. It is only allowing for the Influenza Vaccination Procedure or Influenza Immunization Administered.
