      Thank you for your question. You are correct that this is an error in the eCQM. The logic will be corrected to be “< 2 day(s)” instead of <=2 day (s): “Occurrence A of Encounter, Performed: Non-Elective Inpatient Encounter (length of stay < 2 day(s))" in the next measure update.

      The first Denominator Exclusion on this measure is incorrect when compared to the legacy measure and with the human readable denominator exclusion statement

      The current logic is:

      OR: "Occurrence A of Encounter, Performed: Inpatient Encounter (length of stay <= 2 day(s))"

      The human readable denominator exclusion states "Patients who have a duration of stay less than 2 days" and the legacy measure also uses less than 2 days.

      The exclusion logic should be changed to:
      OR: "Occurrence A of Encounter, Performed: Inpatient Encounter (length of stay < 2 day(s))"
