I have a question on behalf of a clinician I am assisting with participating in MIPS regarding the Quality Measure CMS 156 (Use of High-Risk Medications in Older Adults)

I understand that CMS 156 is an “inverse” measure, so a lower numerator score indicates better quality. The clinician I am assisting currently has a ratio of 0 / 331 in their latest YTD Quality measure report. If their numerator remains as zero throughout the rest of the year, when they attest for MIPS next year and submit their full-year Quality measure data, would they likely receive the maximum points for CMS 156?

Please let me know if my assumption is correct.
