      ​Thank you for your question about the HbA1c laboratory test for CMS122v9, Diabetes: Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) Poor Control (> 9%) .

      A fingerstick A1c would not count as a laboratory test performed. Only codes in the "HbA1c Laboratory Test" value set would count towards the measure.
