Thank you for the question. The developer reviewed the two value sets with the steward and confirmed that these two value sets needed to be aligned. In the April 2014 annual update, the value set "Hospital Measures-Joint Commission Mental Disorders Grouping Value Set (1.3.6.1.4.1.33895.1.3.0.42)" was replaced by "Psychiatric/Mental Health Patient Grouping Value Set (2.16.840.1.113883.3.117.1.7.1.299).

CMS32v2/NQF0496 ED3 reporting stratum 2 uses "Hospital Measures-Joint Commission Mental Disorders Grouping Value Set (1.3.6.1.4.1.33895.1.3.0.42)"

This value set only has 2 values in it (F48.9 and 300.9).

ED1 reporting stratum 2 and ED2 reporting stratum 2 both use "Psychiatric/Mental Health Patient Grouping Value Set (2.16.840.1.113883.3.117.1.7.1.299)"
which has over 2000 codes in it.

Shouldn't ED 3 use the same value set as ED 1 and 2?
