We have encountered an issue that we would like your guidance on:

For eCQM - STK 6: When a statin is continued from the home med list - The patient was showing up in the denominator instead of the numerator.

For the case in which this was identified as an issue:
      1. Clinician selected Nonspecific med (ERX) for Atorvastatin and documented the dose 20 mg and the provider continued at the time of discharge
      2. The Non-specific medication records (ERX are created in the system to give flexibility for the clinicians documenting patients home medications with unknown strength, route, or form.
      3. The Non-specific ERX cannot be mapped to the specific ERX because of the downstream effect - For example, if we map all of the below RX norm codes systems will report as if patient is taking all the doses (example - PDPMP query)

Our EHR Vendor has experienced this with other clients as well. Are you aware of this? Is there a recommended solution?
