Patients who are Hepatitis B carriers do not require a vaccination for Hepatitis B. A value set for Hepatitis B carriers was added to numerator of the HEDIS parent measure and needs to be added to the eCQM. Proposed Solution: Add a value set for Hepatitis B carriers to the numerator for the Hepatitis B immunization. If a patient is a carrier that patient will not need the vaccination. Rationale: To align with the HEDIS parent measure and allow Hepatitis B carriers to meet this part of the numerator without requiring a vaccine for Hepatitis B.
