According to CMS blueprint v14.0, "Assessment instrument question codes need to use LOINC as clinical vocabulary standard." We will replace the following value sets codes with LOINC codes:
1. Replace "Estimated Gestational Age at Delivery" using value set "2.16.840.1.113762.1.4.1045.26" with the following LOINC codes:
-18185-9* - Gestational age - Mom Record
-11884-4* - Gestational age, clinical estimated - Mom Record
-11885-1 - Gestational age, estimated from LMP - Mom Record
-49051-6* - Gestational age in Weeks - Mom Record
2. Replace "Estimated Gestational Age at Birth" using value set "2.16.840.1.113762.1.4.1045.47" with the following LOINC codes:
76516-4 - Gestational age at birth - Baby Record
Because the updated value set contains a single LOINC code, we need use a direct reference code in the measure as CODE:/CodeSystem/LOINC/Version/2.64/Code/76516-4/Info
Rationale: To align with the CMS blueprint requirement to have assessment instrument question codes use LOINC as clinical vocabulary standard.
