In 2017, the addition of ICD code Z92.82 "Status post administration of tPA (rtPA) in a different facility within the last 24 hours prior to admission to current facility" was added to the value set for this measure. However, there was no procedure code added to the value set. The ICD code capture is capturing the date and time the code was entered, rather than the time and date the assessment of TPA administration at another facility was documented. Adding a procedure code to this value set would allow for facilities to capture the data in the ED upon initial assessment of the patient as well as associate a more correct time and date stamp with the assessment. Please consider adding a procedure code to future versions of this value set.
