​Currently our measures haven't excluded deceased patients because that information is often not captured in structured fields in the EHR. During the 2019 Annual Update, we will work with vendors to determine if it is possible to exclude deceased patients and consider implementing that in our measures.

I have a question about the NQF 0055: The verbiage in the wording of the IPP and denominator does not specifically include only "Active patients" or exclude Deceased, inactive patients? Can someone be more specific on what this measure should include or exclude.
