RXCUI 1361853: 0.5 ML heparin sodium, porcine 10000 UNT/ML Cartridge was removed during the 2017 Annual Update that was used for 2018 reporting due to it being an insufficient dosage for antithrombotic use. For the same rational we do not plan to add RXCUI 1658634: 0.5 ML heparin sodium, porcine 10000 UNT/ML Injection.​


      The following value sets were updated to reflect these changes:

      •Anticoagulant Therapy (2.16.840.1.113883.3.117.1.7.1.200)
      •Antithrombotic Therapy (2.16.840.1.113883.3.117.1.7.1.201)​

      Hello, RXCUI 1658634: 0.5 ML heparin sodium, porcine 10000 UNT/ML Injection is not included in the Value Set for NQD ID 0438 where as the same exact drug in syringe form is included, RXCUI 1361853:
      0.5 ML heparin sodium, porcine 10000 UNT/ML Cartridge .
