The Pap Smear for Lab Test Performed required a result. This is hard to accomplish for our sites, as Pap Smears are sent out for Cytology. This is returned to us as a transcription describing the type of cells found during examination. This is not structured data. We attach the transcription to the order of the lab. It is not resulted in the manner a CBC or INR is. The value or finding of the result isn't even of consideration for the measure. Is there any discussion on changing this requirement?
