      Thank you for your feedback. The “technical release notes (Q4 2017 code system updates only) addendum” file on the eCQI Resource Center includes changes since the last published version of the value sets in January 2017 (the “2017 (Jan 1 –Dec 31 EP/EC, Q1 – Q3 EH/CAH) Reporting/Performance Period eCQM Value Sets” on the VSAC) . The “technical release notes addendum” file includes all the changes since the measure’s initial publication in April 2016 (the “April 2016 Release eCQM Value Sets” on the VSAC). Please note the technical release notes are only meant as a guide to help identify the changes, but the VSAC is the source of truth for all value sets updates.

      We are finding numerous discrepancies in the technical release notes vs the update files vs the individual downloads, vs the most recent and prior updates.
