If the result is dated 1/1/2017, is the most recent result, and is >9, the patient would be in the numerator for 2017 reporting.
2.If the result is dated 1/1/2017, is the most recent result, and is >9, the patient would be in the numerator for 2017 reporting.
3.If the result is dated 1/22/2017, is the most recent result, and is >9, the patient would be in the numerator for 2017 reporting.
4.You can consider labs where there is no collection date. For example, if one physician provides lab results to another physician, that information can count toward the measure. The result date must be the most recent in the reporting period.
5.If the results are missing, the patient is considered numerator positive for the measure, based on the logic below:
      · AND: Most Recent: "Occurrence A of Laboratory Test, Performed: HbA1c Laboratory Test" during "Measurement Period"
      · AND NOT: "Occurrence A of Laboratory Test, Performed: HbA1c Laboratory Test (result)"

      Question
      1. If the patient’s has a hemoglobin test ordered on 12/31/16 but the test was not run and resulted until 1/1/17, there also no documentation of a date in which blood was drawn/collected. would this HbA1c value count for 2017 reporting?

      2. If the patient’s has a hemoglobin test ordered on 12/29/16 and blood was drawn/collected 12/30/16 but the test was not run and resulted until 1/1/17, would this HbA1c value count for 2017 reporting?

      3. If the patient’s has a hemoglobin test ordered on 1/1/17 but the test was not run and resulted until 1/22/17, there also no documentation of a date in which blood was drawn/collected. would this HbA1c value count for 2017 reporting?

      4. Should we even consider labs at all without collection date even though there is an result date and results returned? If we should then should both the order and result date of the test be in the reporting period example 2017?

      5. If the patients has hemoglobin test ordered on 1/1/17 and there also no documentation of a date in which blood was drawn/collected and no results returned , would this HbA1c count for 2017 reporting ? as there were no results but test was ordered.
