Colorectal cancer screening - Unable to accurately build a measure to align with the patient population criteria and the descriptive section
Population crieria:
Metadata: [1] Colonoscopy (every 10 years) [2] Flexible sigmoidoscopy (every 5 years)
The oldest a colonoscopy can be according to the population criteria would be 9 years on the last date of the reporting period (example 12/31/17). This means the oldest result was performed 12/31/2008. Based on the metadata, however, a colonoscopy performed at any point during 2008 should satisfy the measure as that would be part of the 10 year satisfaction window.
Can you please clarify the population criteria to reflect that a colonoscopy should satisfy a measure for 10 years? Same for sigmoidoscopy with 5 years?
