CMS 146- VSAC missing LOINC codes for strep

      The 2017 update cycle is now complete and no additional changes can be made to our value set. During the 2018 update cycle, we will consider adding these two LOINC codes into our Group A Streptococcus Test value set.

      We have our Throat Culture ( Beta Strep Screen) mapped to LOINC code 546-2 and our Rapid Strep lab mapped to LOINC code 78012-2. Neither of these codes are in the VSAC for Group A Streptococcus Test 2.16.840.1.113883.3.464.1003.198.12.1012. We are requesting they be added.
