      CVX 43 is an adult dosage for hepatitis B vaccination. We looked up the Vermont state registry (see pdf below). It appears that CVX code 43 only maps to patients >11 years of age. CVX08 should be used for the pediatric population (which is included in our value set). We hope this answers your question.

However, CVX code 43 "recombivax hepatitis b" vaccine is not part of the value set. Due to the missing vaccination CVX code missing in the value set, clinicians LOOK like they are performing low; however are clinically prescribing the appropriate vaccination.
