The intent of the measure is to quantify pain intensity for patient with cancer, at each face-to-face encounter with the physician while the patient is actively receiving chemotherapy or radiation therapy. This particular JIRA ticket focuses on patients who are receiving chemotherapy, so it is important to note that the level of analysis for this measure is every visit for patients with a diagnosis of cancer who are also receiving chemotherapy during the measurement period. The initial population logic requires that a patient has been administered chemotherapy within 30 days prior to the encounter, and also been administered chemotherapy within 30 days after the date of the encounter. The initial population logic also requires that the encounter occurs during the measurement period.

    • Measure outcomes can change after the reporting period.

AND: "Diagnosis: Cancer" overlaps Occurrence A of $OVorF2FEncounter
AND: "Procedure, Performed: Chemotherapy Administration" <= 30 day(s) starts before end of Occurrence A of $OVorF2FEncounter
AND: "Procedure, Performed: Chemotherapy Administration" <= 30 day(s) starts after end of Occurrence A of $OVorF2FEncounter

If a patient has an Office Visit encounter on 12/31/2017, chemotherapy performed 30 days after the measurement period may place the patient in the initial population.
