      Thank you for the question. Each year the value sets are reviewed to ensure it includes prescribable drugs that align with the measure intent and the CMS Measures Management Blueprint. Drugs that are no longer prescribable along with any drugs with term types not indicated in the Blueprint or may not have aligned with measure intent were removed from the value set

      For the CMS100 v4 released May 2015, the Value Set for "Aspirin Allergen RXNORM Value Set (2.16.840.1.113883.3.117.1.7.1.139)" decreased from 154 values in the 2013 version of the measure down to 91 values in the 2015 version of the measure.
      Can you please explain the rationale for this decrease?
