​CMS has provided guidance in CMS185v4 posted in May 2015 that states: CMS suggests eligible hospitals participating in the Medicare & Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs not select CMS185/NQF0716: Healthy Term Newborn as one of their additional electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) for meaningful use. The measure steward is making substantial changes to this measure and is working with NQF on endorsement of the revised measure. CMS will review the changes to this measure and assess its feasibility for future implementation.

Previously, CMS suggests that hospitals not select this CMS185. Since that time we have received the updated specs for implementation effective Jan 1, 2016 and they still contain this measure. Does CMS's guidance from Nov 2014 still hold that we should not select this measure? Is there any word on if/when this measure will be retired?
