Thank you for pointing out this issue. The logic surrounding oral factor Xa administration should be the same for both VTE-1 (CMS108v3) and VTE-2 (CMS190v3). The existing discrepancy results from an error in the VTE-1 logic, which should refer to the Knee Replacement Surgery value set (2.16.840.1.113883.3.117.1.7.1.261), instead of the Hip Fracture Surgery value set (2.16.840.1.113883.3.117.1.7.1.258). This issue will be addressed in the upcoming annual update.

Numerator section for Oral Factor Xa Inhibitor varies between VTE-1 and VTE-2.
VTE-1 looks for Hip Replacement Surgery and Hip Fracture Surgery procedures whereas VTE-2 looks for Hip Replacement Surgery and Knee Replacement Surgery. Is this accurate or should they be the same?
