Specifically for the value sets related to CMS113/PC-01: The following value sets represent resolved preexisting conditions that we expect would be documented as historical problems on the patient's problem list or history: * Artificial Rupture of Membranes SNOMEDCT Value Set (2.16.840.1.113762.1.4.1045.57) * Delivery Procedures SNOMEDCT Value Set (2.16.840.1.113883.3.117.1.7.1.401) * Myomectomy SNOMEDCT Value Set (2.16.840.1.113883.3.117.1.7.1.422) * Cornual Ectopic Pregnancy SNOMEDCT Value Set (2.16.840.1.113762.1.4.1045.27) As the intent was to capture patient problem list or history rather than current conditions, SNOMED-CT is the appropriate code system. For the 2015 annual update we will evaluate whether ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM provide codes that meet the intent of the value sets currently specified in SNOMED-CT. 2. Regarding the value sets related to CMS102/STK-8: Earlier releases of this eCQM included ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-PCS value sets for rehabilitation assessment and therapy. However, we found these code systems didn't provide sufficient coverage of the several clinical roles in the multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team (e.g., ICD-9-CM for rehabilitation assessments). In addition, we found the ICD-10-PCS representation of rehabilitation assessments and therapy to be very specific to the activities, but very vague in terms of how they would apply to stroke rehabilitation. For these reasons, we decided to remove ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-PCS representation for these concepts. We are open to reconsidering this removal, but would like your feedback on how you are using ICD-9-CM/ICD-10-PCS to capture rehabilitation assessments and therapy. Examples of the codes you, as well as additional information on how you have integrated them in clinical workflow would be especially helpful. We look forward to your input.
