Our EHR uses the same field to document for CMS 068 as we do for MU Core 14. Is this a correct interpretation?

Measure CMS 68 requires that the eligible professional attest to documenting, updating or reviewing a patient’s current medications using all immediate resources available on the date of encounter. The medications list must include all prescriptions, over-the-counter (OTC) products, herbals, vitamins, minerals, dietary (nutritional) supplements AND must contain the medications’ name, dosage, frequency and route of administration.

This measure is not prescriptive regarding going to an external source, but rather the EP attests to reviewing and updating the list with what is available.

This measure appears to require documentation of all medications, OTCs, vitamins a patient is on to be entered into their EHR. Is this to be interpreted to be a full medication reconciliation with an outside source (not just a review) just like the requirements of MU Core 14?
