      The interpretation of the measure logic for CMS 147v2 as provided in the description of the issue is correct. According to the logic, the measure vaccination needs to be given during the encounter, or that the patient reports that he/she received the vaccination elsewhere, and that communication takes place during the encounter.
      Please note that CMS147v4, posted in July 2014 for implementation in 2015, has been revised to allow more flexibility for when the influenza vaccination is provided.

      QUESTION SEE ATTACHED W SCREEN SHOT:

      According to the specification, the vaccination MUST be taken on the same encounter as in the Denominator, which is during Oct 1 of the previous reporting year until March 31 of the current reporting year.

      Please confirm the interpretation above is correct.
