In conversations with the QDM team at MITRE, we evaluated this construct:
Numerator 2 =
AND: MOST RECENT: "Occurrence A of Laboratory Test, Result: LDL-C Laboratory Test"
AND: "Occurrence A of Laboratory Test, Result: LDL-C Laboratory Test (result < 100 mg/dL)" during "Measurement Period"
The conclusion was that this will only evaluate to true if the most recent value of the LDL test was during the measurement period and is < 100. However, if there was a test after the measurement period the first part will evaluate to true and the second will always be false, making the construct false. Therefore this will always evaluate to false if there is a test result after the measurement period, which is not as the measure intends. I assume Cypress might exploit this problem. I will ask MITRE staff to confirm by comment that this is true.
