      QUESTION CMS122:

      NUM HbA1c Results > 9:
      The measure requires HbA1c test with results greater than 9% for Diabetic patients. As result, would HbA1c Results returned as a range such as ‘> 9’ or ‘>=10’ be acceptable? We do not believe it would accurate to include HbA1c Test Results that are represented as a range and that only numeric HbA1c Test Results such as ‘10’, ’10.5’, ‘11’ and etc… should be considered valid. Can you please confirm if HbA1c Test Results that are represented as a range would be valid for meeting NUM criteria?
