DAF Phase 3 Pilot Sites
The DAF Phase 3 pilots sites are part of the PCORnet community, the National Patient-Centered Clinical Research Network, an innovative initiative of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). The goals of PCORnet are to "transform clinical research by engaging patients, care providers, and health systems in collaborative partnerships to improve healthcare and advance medical knowledge."
Lincoln Peak Partners (LPP) developed the PopMedNet software for the PCORnet community and many others that include: FDA Sentinel post-market surveillance network, NIH Collaboratory basic research network, MDPHnet public health network for State of Massachusetts and many Clinical Data Research Networks (CDRNs).
pSCANNER and REACHnet are both part of the PCORnet Clinical Data Research Networks (CDRN). These CDRNs are "comprised of many different types of health systems who are partnering to conduct research as a network. Each individual CDRN will build capacity for conducting both randomized trials and observational comparative effectiveness studies using data from their practices and patient populations. These networks involve two or more healthcare systems, and include integrated delivery systems, academic medical centers, and safety net clinics."
*C5 and C6 are deferred until C1-C4 pilot activities have been sufficiently completed
