Description |
With the increase on quarters that are required to be submitted for EH eCQMs in CY2021 and forward, what is the guidance for EHs that switch EHR systems in the middle of the reporting year (between quarters or in the middle of the quarter)? Can different vendors submit QRDA I files for the quarter, same facility? Can different vendors submit files for different quarters, same facility? Some examples: Facility uses EHR 1 during Q1/Q2 and EHR 2 for Q3/Q4. It wants to submit Q2 and Q3 data Facility uses EHR 1 during Q1 and first half of Q2; EHR 2 for second half of Q2, Q3 and Q4. It wants to submit Q2 and Q3 data |

Thank you for your response. Based on the response above, will the expectation be that: If a patient has an encounter1 during the first part of Q2 (EHR1) and an encounter2 during the second part of Q2 (EHR2), Q2-QRDA files submitted by EHR1 will include encounter1 information, and Q2-QRDA files submitted by EHR2 will include encounter2 information? |

The HQR team has confirmed that the HQR system allows multiple vendors to submit during the same quarter. It also allows one vendor submit for one quarter and another vendor submit for different quarter.
