eCQMs such as ED-1 and ED-2 are specified in HQMF, which is different from QRDA. The HQMF standard is not a CDA standard itself, it does have different representations and has its own schema compare to the QRDA-I standard. “roleParticipant” is valid against the eMeasure.xsd, which is different from the CDA_SDTC.xsd that QRDA-I documents are using. When report in QRDA-I, there is a mapping step that needs to be done to map which QRDA-I template needs to be used for a QDM data element specified in an eCQM, map the necessary QDM attributes as well.
