Test deck for CQM 002 includes RX Norm 105152. This code is not available through First Data Bank and from what I can see this med/strength form combination is not available for sale. Is it acceptable to substitute another strength/form if needed for certification? I have emailed NLM RxNorm Information to confirm if this RXNorm code will be inactivated. |

Thank you for notifying us of this issue. RxNorm code 105152 is not utilized in the 2014 test bundle. |

I received the following response from the RXNorm Support Team. Hi Tera, Sorry for the delayed response. It appears you are correct about this drug not truly being on the market in the US. We are looking to refine our prescribable subset algorithm to exclude drugs like this one from inclusion in the subset and subsequently in value sets. Patrick McLaughlin |
