The PACIO (Post-Acute Care Interoperability) Project, established February 2019, is a collaborative effort between industry, government, and other stakeholders, with the goal of establishing a framework for the development of FHIR implementation guides to facilitate health information exchange.

Why are certain data elements duplicated in both the USCDI and USCDI+ Quality data set? (e.g., Vital Signs) How is ONC planning to use the data elements from USCDI+ differently than the same existing USCDI data elements? For example, would the USCDI+ data element requirements be more prescriptive and uniform, such that the data can be used to calculate quality measures in different quality programs?
