When generating a QRDA I file for a patient what is the best way to "tag" or associate specific encounters that may not be reportable for a denominator.

In example, if a patient has a hospice exclusion encounter that would not count toward the denominator of a measure what is the preferred method to appropriately identify which provider that may have been associated with so that upon another importing the generated QRDA I and associating it with a specific provider the exclusion would not be count towards the selected import provider?
