170.207( n)(1) of the certification criteria states that birth sex should be coded per the HL7 version 3 standard, using an administrative gender that can be Male (M), Female (F), or Unknown (UK). However, the 2020 QRDA 3 IG uses a value set that only contains Male (M) and Female (F).

Is there a plan to align certification and QRDA 3 standards? To my knowledge they were aligned up until RY 2020.
