We were working on 2020 QRDA III implementation to report for 2020 MIPS Quality. When we generate QRDA III file for an eCQM that is required to be reported once per patient during the performance period, the numbers are simple to be calculated. For example, if there are 100 patients in Denominator out of which 50 are Male patients and 50 are Female.

But, in the case of CMS68, it is every visit to be recorded for a patient. For example, we have the same 100 patients but the Denominator for the measure is 300. The number of Gender, Ethnicity, Race & Payer Supplemental Data will be calculated based on 100 patients but the count of Denominator and Numerator will be different according to the number of visits. 

I have also attached the screenshots of two QRDA III files, one for CMS2 and the other one for CMS68 to show the difference. 

Kindly confirm if this is how the data will appear for eCQMs such as CMS68?
