As per the JIRA no: QRDA-781 and QRDA-I Implementation guide (IG) it was communicated that the program names should be changed for CY 2019 reporting period as mentioned below:

 Now when we are trying to validate the QRDA-1 files for both IQR and PI in PSVA tool (version: psva-application-gui-1.3.4) for CY 2019 with CMS Program name as ‘HQR_PI_IQR’ we are receiving an error and in the PSVA tool drop down the new CMS program names viz., HQR_PI, HQR_PI_IQR etc., are not reflecting.

While troubleshooting we have used the old program name ‘HQR_EHR_IQR’ in the QRDA-1 files and tried validating it and it passed.

Also, I have found a checklist for CY 2019 Hospital IQR Program-Promoting Interoperability Program Preparation Checklist for eCQM Reporting – QRDA Category I Production File(s) Instructions from CMS where in one of the steps it is mentioned that “Select the Program [HQR_EHR_IQR] for dual program submission”. Please find the checklist attached for your reference.

 Our questions are as follows:

• As per the communication should we use the new program names (HQR_PI, HQR_PI_IQR) in our QRDA-1 files for CY 2019 submissions?
• If Yes, then when the PSVA tool drop down will be updated with the new program names for CY 2019?
• If No, then should we continue using the old program name, but this will contradict with the QRDA IG for CY 2019?
• Why in the checklist from CMS it is mentioned to use the old program name ‘HQR_EHR_IQR’ for CY 2019 reporting instead of 'HQR_PI_IQR'?
