      Hi Team,

The "Result Observation" template defined in "Quality Reporting Document Architecture Category I (QRDA I), Release 1, STU Release 5, US Realm" document states that the values which can be provided are
      1. (xsi:type="PQ") - expect a numeric result
      2. (xsi:type="CD") - expect a code/codeSystem/valueSet as a result
      as provided in the template

In addition to above two values i.e., (xsi:type="PQ") & (xsi:type="CD") please confirm if the third value i.e., "(xsi:type="ST") - result could be a free form string" can also be accepted as a valid entry for validating the result such as "description of the result" (for e.g., positivie/negative in case of Laboratory test, performed)

Also, in QDM v5.3 for "Result" attribute it states that the result can be expressed in five ways out of which for one of the way the description states "That a result is present in the electronic record but any entry is acceptable"

For above definition can you please help us understand such cases with some example
