      The QRDA I standard itself does not require payer information.
      For all MU2 eCQMs, CMS defines four required supplemental data elements that include payer to be reported for each eCQM. So when you submit QRDA I report for MU2 eCQMs to CMS, payer is required. But this requirement is not coming from the QRDA I standard itself, it is from a specific reporting program.
