HQR system does not use the program name when determining success for either IQR or MU program success. Meaning that even if a hospital used HQR_IQR, and meets submission criteria for MU, they would be reported to MU as successful. HQR system does use the CMS Program Name Code as one of its key identifiers for succession management, but that would not impact program success. If hospitals are only reporting for IQR, then use HQR_IQR If hospitals are only reporting for MU (EHR Incentive Program), then use HQR_EHR If hospitals are reporting to both quality programs, then use HQR_EHR_IQR The CDAC program is for use only by the validation contractor and should not be used by hospitals.
