When I submit the following file to the Joint Comission, I am getting the following error.
"(C) There exist an Inpatient Encounter with discharge date outside the reporting period specified in the reporting parameter section. 100022".

This file contains only one Inpatient Encounter, with the following code:

</effectiveTime>

The reporting parameters are as follows:

</effectiveTime>

Now in my mind this encounter falls well with the Q2 reporting period stated. I am unsure how to get this file accepted.
