As a company we perform negative testing on templates and measure logic. In doing so, we saw this issue where conformity was not being checked for the 'rank' sub-template, however, for the main 'encounter performed' template conformity checks are being done. We thought of passing on this information to you. Below is the scenario. 

 
Measure: CMS22
Patient: 42_Ralph_Gibbs
Reporting Year: 2025
Issue: Cypress is not checking for Conformity for Rank sub-template and is passing the file.
Description: The Rank sub-template extension was changed from extension="2019-12-01" to extension="2021-08-01"and a conformity test was done. Cypress passed the test and the file. 
 
We did a similar check by changing the extension of the main Encounter performed template, in that scenario Cypress failed the file with proper reason as shown below:
