In the latest errata released for QRDA 1, we observed that the set of allowable values for Present on Admission was updated from UB-04 standard to CMS code system. In 10.46Present On Admission Indicator (V2) section we see that the New column has only 4 values Y, N, U and W whereas the value 1 is not present. Also, in 3.56 Present On Admission Indicator (V2) section, the example codes talks about value 1 as '1 – Unreported/Not used. Exempt from POA reporting.'

Can you please help us provide more clarity on this particular value '1' to be used for POA. Please find below the screenshots for quick reference.
