Thanks for your question Jit. CMS continues to evaluate the use of FHIR in it's quality reporting programs. Initial FHIR education sessions, as it applies to CMS measures, can be reviewed on the eCQI RC FHIR Education page: https://ecqi.healthit.gov/fhir?qt-tabs_fhir=2
As testing and evaluation progresses, CMS is also determining what specific or additional guidance will be needed. No timeline has been finalized regarding certification or reporting in FHIR.

For reporting Electronic clinical quality measures using the HL7 FHIR standard, it mentions that DEQM (data exchange for quality measures) IG for Individual and summary will replace QRDA I and III.

So wanted to know if there be a complete change in the QRDA formats , so going forward we will be getting the QRDA I and III files in QRDA format or in FHIR format or we wont be getting anything like QRDA I and III. As compared to the present QRDA I and III format how much will be the change.

Since we art Citiustech are consuming the QRDA I and III, wanted to anticipate on what kind of change we might see in the QRDA for get an understanding on how much change we need to undergo to support FHIR reporting of e-CQMS.

Also, is there any timeline mandated by CMS for FHIR reporting as of now.
