MMS Blueprint 15.0 (September 2019), section 17.1.1 (starting on page 156) starts with the original advice from the previous ONC Health Information Technology Standards Committee Vocabulary Task Force (2015). Table 17 (starting on page 158) provides some updates and it seems an update is required to reference the fact that QDM Interventions and QDM Procedures actually should use the same vocabulary components. The distinction between the two (intervention and procedure) is conceptual but from a SNOMED standpoint, they are both procedures or regime/therapy. The attributes reason, result, and negation rationale may also need change, but the Intervention, Performed code should use the same SNOMED procedure or regime/therapy as Procedure, Performed.
