The issue was: LOINC forbids the creation of value sets that only contain single LOINC codes. I proposed a new datatype that could code “survey question/query” to which no OID is listed but a code can be placed and then an answer value set is entered. Obviously it’s a big issue so I think we need to roll up our sleeves and get started.
