Bonnie alpha - test cases not evaluating as expected

XMLWordPrintable

    • High BP
    • CMS712v0 (CQL)/ CMS22 (production)
    • NumerPass NormalBP, et al.

Previously this measure's CQL definitions had several uses of "exists" which did not properly capture the intent of the measure. The result was many test cases evaluating "True" for the numerator where it was expected that numerator criteria was not being met.

Definitions previously using "exists" have been updated. Now many test cases are evaluating to "False" for the numerator where we expect them to meet numerator criteria. It appears perhaps that blood pressure results (systolic and diastolic using 'mm[Hg]' units) are not being evaluated as expected. Just to be sure I have tried several variations of the unit notation in Bonnie to no avail.

For example one of the more simple test cases is "NumerPass NormalBP". We would expect the numerator to be true based on the logic in the definition "Most Recent BP normal" which should not be null if the query criteria are met (most recent systolic < 120 mm[Hg] and most recent diastolic < 80 mm[Hg].

Any assistance or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!
