The eCQI Resource Center parses the specs for display on the individual measure pages.  We noticed the measures used to have a character   in the XML which is a line break character.   The fields we import aren’t as nicely formatted because the XMLs are missing that link break character which was the only indication we had on how to format.  We request these be added back for more robust machine to machine readability.  

Per Christina Biggs :  It looks like carriage returns are displaying correctly in human readable, but in the HQMF they are not being replaced with the specific character string you mentioned.
