Hello! I'm writing on behalf of the Mathematica eCQM Annual Update team. In the latest measure exports for risk-adjusted hospital eCQMs (i.e., CMS1028, CMS1218, CMS1017, CMS832), we are seeing that brackets have been added to the beginning and end of the logic for each risk adjustment variable definition only under the 'Risk Adjustment Variables' logic section of the HTML file. This does not appear to affect the logic for the risk adjustment variable definitions under the 'Definitions' logic section of the HTML file, and it seems like these brackets are not present in the CQL file.
I've attached a screenshot here, that shows an excerpt of the HTML file of the previously published version of CMS1218 (on the left side of the screenshot) compared with an excerpt of the same section of the logic from the HTML file of the draft version CMS1218 that was just exported in early December (on the right side of the screenshot). I've also attached that draft version of the CMS1218 measure package to this ticket, so you could review the HTML in its entirety.
Please note that I'm attaching the CMS1218 measure package just as an example, but this impacts all four hospital eCQMs that are risk adjusted.
Would these brackets impact logic execution? We are also planning to reach out to the tooling team to confirm that the addition of these brackets is intentional. Thank you for helping us look into this!
