I currently do not have the ability to modify certain test cases in our Hospital Harm - Severe Hyperglycemia measure. Currently trying to modify a test case in the measure and getting a Validation failed for object='testCase'. Error count:1  error message.

[MADIE-2090] Modify Current Test Cases in Measure

Thank you for confirming the workaround was successful for you. This can impact Denominator, Numerator and Measure Populations with observations. Here is the Known Issue added on 11/20/24:

QDM Measures: For Ratio and Continuous Variable measures, in test cases
imported from Bonnie with observations, users may receive an error message
and be prevented from editing the impacted test cases.

Workaround: Remove the observation expected value by zeroing out the
relevant population (Numerator, Denominator or Measure Population), and then
re-enter the expected values. If a test case has multiple observations, each will
          need to be updated accordingly.

          Hi cbartleman@telligen.com,

The workaround successfully resolved the issue for that specific test case. Going forward, for each affected test case, will a workaround be necessary only for the reference value observation of the denominator, or will similar modifications be required for the numerator as well?

          Thanks

          Good morning,

I am following up on Abdullah behalf, the measure team will confirm today.

          Thanks!

          Abdullah,

We have not heard from you since we provided a response on 11/20. This ticket will be closed at the end of the day today if we have not received a response from you.

          11/20 message:

The team has identified a workaround to resolve the error message you continue to receive. It is believed to stem from certain test cases that were imported from Bonnie where the reference value for observations is not being set when imported.

To resolve the error message for the test case DENEXFail - GlucoseInterstitialFluidResult999, 1.) remove the Denominator Observation expected value , 2.) set Denominator expected value to 0 to make the Denominator Observation disappear, 3.) then reset Demoninator expect value back to 1 to make the Denominator Observation reappear, 4.) and then add back the expected value of 3 for the Denominator Observation, and 5.) save. This corrects the reference value and should allow you to save any changes.

Does this solution work for you? Please confirm.

Thank you for confirming that you updated the Improvement Notation to one of the available options in the dropdown, but are still receiving an unexpected error message. The measure package, your most recent screen shots, the specific updates you are attempting and the Measure and Test Case URLs have been shared with the MADiE team and are being researched. The ticket will be updated as more information becomes available.

I’m encountering 400 errors when attempting to modify anything in the test case, particularly when trying to change the lab result quantity to 600 mg/dL or update the title or description of the test case. I've added more screenshots

          Abdullah,

Now that the Improvement Notation section is updated, are you still receiving a 400 error or is a different error generated (400, 403, 500)? Can you describe the exact steps you are taking and where in the steps you receive the error? What specific modification to the test case are you attempting?

The issue persists even after updating the improvement notation.
