I have noticed another test case failure for CMS996, similar to the issue I reported in MADiE-1995 last week. Note this record was passing in the Bonnie tool, prior to importing it out to load into the MADiE tool. It is a 2025 patient
The test case is for DENEX path, that has a SNOMED code (1201752006) on the record that falls on the Major Surgical Procedure value set (2.16.840.1.113883.3.3157.4056). The current actual outcome in the MADie tool, is denominator. So it looks like the SNOMED code selected for Major Surgical Procedure is not being evaluated.
In looking on the Value Set Authority website, the code is visible when looking at the 'eCQM Update 2024-05-02' version. (see screen shot below)
The code is also visible in the Excel version of the value sets that were exported back in May 2024 when the CY2025 release was made available on the eCQI Resource page.
But this code is not visible when looking at the 'Latest' version on the VSAC Authority site.
Can you please take a look? Is this an issue in how the data is being saved on the VSAC Authority for the different versions?
Any input you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
